The Canadian Grand Prix fastest-lap market reflects a tightly contested field because Circuit Gilles Villeneuve rewards late-race tire strategy and clean air more than raw qualifying pace. Drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton all bring strong recent form, competitive race pace, and proven ability to exploit soft-compound tires after a safety-car window or final pit stop. Track characteristics—long straights, heavy braking zones, and variable grip—create frequent opportunities for any frontrunner to post the quickest sector times once fuel loads drop and rubber is fresh. The current pricing captures this broad parity, with no single driver holding a decisive edge heading into the weekend.

If the 2026 F1 Canadian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after May 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
