Official National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 2 project a high near 89°F under mostly sunny skies, aligning with trader emphasis on the closely matched 88-89°F and 90-91°F bins. At Denver’s mile-high elevation, peak temperatures hinge on insolation rates, afternoon mixing, and light easterly winds that can enhance or limit surface heating. Minor model differences in cloud cover or dewpoint recovery explain the tight spread between these outcomes, while lower-probability cooler bins reflect residual moisture from recent storms. Historical early-September averages near 84°F provide context, but current dry, clear conditions support the warmer consensus ahead of final 48-hour model updates.
