Persistent high pressure and predominantly sunny conditions with light winds are supporting above-average highs for Milan on September 3, with multiple forecast models converging on a peak near 31–32 °C. Recent runs show only modest differences in afternoon maximums, driven by small variations in cloud timing, boundary-layer mixing, and the precise hour of peak insolation. This narrow spread explains the near-even market weighting between those two outcomes, while historical early-September averages of 25–27 °C underscore the current warmth. With resolution only 48 hours away, the next ECMWF and GFS updates plus any observed trends in dew points or wind will likely decide between the leading probabilities.
