Recent polls for Israel’s October 27, 2026, Knesset election place United Torah Judaism (UTJ) at 7–8 seats, with limited movement across surveys from late August and early September. Trader positioning remains tight because the Haredi conscription standoff continues to shape turnout and coalition arithmetic: UTJ’s departure from the prior government over draft exemptions has kept its core support stable while exposing it to broader voter fatigue on military service amid security pressures. Internal negotiations between Degel HaTorah and Agudat Yisrael over the slate, alongside the emergence of splinter Haredi lists, introduce modest downside risk to seat totals. At the same time, strong communal mobilization and the party’s role in post-election bargaining keep the 9–10 seat band plausible if turnout exceeds expectations or right-wing bloc dynamics shift. These cross-currents explain why no single outcome dominates market pricing.
