Navdeep Bains holds the leading implied probability at 58 percent in the Ontario Liberal leadership contest, reflecting his federal cabinet experience, early fundraising lead exceeding $400,000, and positioning as the most tested candidate in a race to rebuild the third-place opposition party. Multiple other entrants, including MPP Lee Fairclough at 18 percent and later registrants like Stephanie Bowman, remain closely bunched near or below 50 percent as the September 7 membership deadline approaches, with the field still sorting through endorsements, local events, and policy pitches on affordability and housing. Online voting runs November 9–20, leaving room for late momentum shifts from caucus support or turnout among new members before results on November 21.
