Recent forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and global models indicate clearing skies and northerly winds over Tokyo on September 22 following heavy rain on the prior two days, supporting afternoon highs near 29–31°C. Ensemble guidance shows modest uncertainty tied to residual cloud cover and any lingering showers, which could limit peak solar heating or allow brief cooling. This aligns with market-implied odds clustering around 29–31°C, reflecting trader assessment of typical late-September recovery patterns after frontal passages rather than extreme heat or prolonged overcast conditions. Updated JMA briefings and next model cycles will refine the exact maximum.
