Recent forecast models from sources including PAGASA and global ensembles point to scattered thunderstorms and high cloud cover over Manila on September 20, which should limit daytime heating and keep the maximum temperature in the low-to-mid 30s °C range. This aligns with the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 32–34 °C outcomes. Persistent monsoon moisture and light steering winds favor afternoon convection that typically caps peaks near or slightly above the September climatological average of 31 °C. Updated model runs and official guidance in the next 24–48 hours remain the key variables that could shift consensus toward higher or lower thresholds.
