Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate scattered thunderstorms on September 20 will moderate Denver's high into the low-to-mid 70s, driving trader consensus toward the 70-73°F range. A frontal boundary and associated cloud cover are limiting daytime solar insolation and promoting evaporative cooling from precipitation, preventing the warmer readings seen earlier in the week. Model consensus from NWS guidance shows highs near 73-74°F under partly to mostly cloudy skies with 40-70% storm chances, though exact maxima hinge on storm timing and coverage—earlier or heavier activity could cap temperatures closer to 70°F while delayed development allows brief clearing toward 75°F. September climatology at Denver's elevation supports highs in this band when moisture increases, with resolution depending on official NWS observations.
