Recent National Weather Service forecasts project overnight lows in the upper 70s for Miami amid scattered thunderstorms, high humidity near 90%, and light variable winds typical of late-September subtropical conditions. These factors, combined with daytime highs near 86°F and sea-breeze moderation, align with historical averages around 77°F for the date while allowing limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies. Persistent moisture from Atlantic and Gulf influences reduces the chance of sharp drops, keeping sub-72°F readings unlikely. Trader sentiment favoring the 72-73°F bin reflects model consensus on modest cooling from evening showers rather than stronger cold-air advection, with final resolution hinging on official Miami International Airport observations through midnight.
