Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Seattle indicate a September 22 overnight low most likely in the mid-50s°F, driven by partly cloudy skies, light variable winds, and moderate radiative cooling under a stable marine air mass typical of late summer in the Pacific Northwest. Ensemble forecasts show limited spread, with subtle differences in cloud cover timing and dew point depression creating the tight clustering around 54–57°F bins; drier northerly flow could allow brief dips toward 52°F, while lingering marine stratus would cap cooling near 56–57°F. Historical September climatology places average lows near 52°F, providing context for current trader emphasis on near-term observational updates from Sea-Tac and forecast revisions ahead of the 48-hour window.
