This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Marcos A. Gelabert Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 22 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=mpmg If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader sentiment for the highest temperature in Panama City, Panama, on September 22, 2026, centers on 31–32°C as the most probable outcomes, with implied probabilities of 31.5% and 41.5%.** These align closely with official forecasts from sources such as the UK Met Office and The Weather Network, which project a daytime high of 32°C under partly cloudy conditions with scattered showers or thunderstorms. In Panama’s tropical wet-season climate, September typically features average maximums near 30°C, modulated by the position of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, trade-wind patterns, and diurnal convection that produces afternoon cloud cover and rain. Current model consensus indicates sufficient solar heating and limited persistent cloud cover for temperatures to reach the upper end of the seasonal range, while the risk of heavier rainfall or stronger convection keeps the probability of 33°C or higher low at 7%. Recent observational data and short-range forecasts show no significant deviations from this pattern, supporting the market’s emphasis on 31–32°C as the resolution range most consistent with expected atmospheric conditions.
