Trader consensus on the 70-71°F and 72-73°F bins reflects the latest National Weather Service forecast calling for a high near 70°F in San Francisco on September 17, with partly cloudy skies and light southwesterly flow. Onshore marine air and the typical September marine layer limit daytime warming despite recent clear periods, while model consensus shows modest afternoon clearing that could push readings into the low 70s depending on exact wind direction and cloud timing. Historical September highs average around 69°F, providing context for why probabilities cluster tightly here rather than favoring cooler or warmer bins. Updated NWS guidance and any overnight model shifts will be key near-term catalysts as resolution approaches.
