**Forecast models from multiple sources, including globalmeteo and WindBorne Systems, currently project a high of 71–72°F for New York City on September 15 under mostly clear skies and light easterly winds following northwest flow behind a frontal passage.** This places the market’s leading 72–73°F bin (55.5% implied probability) squarely in line with consensus guidance, while the adjacent 70–71°F (18%) and 74–75°F (17%) outcomes reflect residual model spread typical 48 hours out. The expected high sits several degrees below the 1991–2020 climatological normal of 77°F, consistent with cooler air advection and minimal daytime heating under limited cloud cover. Official National Weather Service updates and any late-model shifts in steering flow or boundary-layer mixing will be the key near-term catalysts that could nudge probabilities within the narrow 70–75°F window before resolution.
