Forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models show Austin overnight lows on September 3 clustering in the mid-70s, with most guidance projecting 75–78°F amid persistent southerly flow and high pressure limiting radiational cooling. Recent model runs have held steady despite moisture from approaching Tropical Storm Edouard, which raises humidity and scattered storm chances but has not produced significant cooling. Historical September averages near 71°F highlight the current warmth, while 24–48 hour updates from NHC and local offices remain the key variables that could shift trader consensus on the 76–77°F and 78–79°F bins versus lower outcomes.
