This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Early-season performances from two standout AL Central rookies have kept the American League Rookie of the Year race tightly contested, with Munetaka Murakami and Kevin McGonigle emerging as the clear frontrunners. Murakami has posted elite power numbers for the White Sox, including double-digit home runs and a strong OPS that highlights his transition from NPB dominance. McGonigle, meanwhile, has delivered a polished all-around game for the Tigers, including consistent contact, speed, and defensive contributions that exceed preseason expectations. Chase DeLauter’s solid outfield production for the Guardians provides a distant third option, while the rest of the field trails significantly. This close positioning reflects the wisdom of crowds pricing in both players’ strong starts, comparable playing time, and limited head-to-head separation through the first six weeks.
