Close margins in the first three games, including the Spurs' 115-111 victory in Game 3 driven by Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle, have highlighted clutch situations where buzzer beaters become more likely. The Spurs' young roster and the Knicks' experience in high-pressure environments increase the potential for late-game heroics, particularly with playoff implications amplifying defensive intensity and shot selection under the clock. Historical NBA Finals patterns show buzzer beaters occur more frequently in evenly matched series featuring strong perimeter shooting and versatile bigs.
