Uroš Medić’s emphatic first-round TKO of Daniel Rodriguez in the August 1 Belgrade main event elevated the Serbian welterweight into the top 10, yet no opponent has been officially announced nearly seven weeks later. This absence of a booking has produced a tight cluster of implied probabilities across multiple ranked contenders, with Joaquin Buckley, Mike Malott, and Michael Venom Page leading trader consensus amid a deep 170-pound division. Medić’s history of first-round finishes, recent meniscus recovery timeline, and post-fight interest in higher-profile names such as Leon Edwards or Kamaru Usman factor into matchmaking considerations alongside rest periods, ranking implications, and promotional priorities. The even distribution reflects the lack of a clear frontrunner and the competitive balance of stylistic and scheduling variables.
