Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick’s March 2026 comments that GTA 6 will follow standard AAA pricing in the $70–$80 range have anchored trader sentiment, reinforcing expectations for a base edition at or near the current industry norm of $69.99. Recent retailer listings suggesting $100 or higher appear to be placeholders rather than confirmed pricing, while Rockstar’s long development cycle and focus on broad accessibility further support the market’s 91% implied probability for “No.” Physical preorders launching May 18 could provide the first official signal, though any surprise premium push would need to overcome entrenched AAA benchmarks and historical Rockstar strategy to shift the consensus.
