If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after June 29, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the listed player cannot be confirmed as a part of the USA's official 1st match starting lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino finalized the 26-man roster in late May 2026, emphasizing experience from the 2022 squad alongside emerging MLS and European talent. Key variables shaping starting XI projections include recent injury recoveries for fullbacks like Sergiño Dest and center backs such as Chris Richards, whose fitness directly influences defensive selections. Midfield depth pits established options like Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie against tactical fits, while attacking spots hinge on form from players including Christian Pulisic, Folarin Balogun, and inclusions like Gio Reyna or Alejandro Zendejas. Omitted attackers like Diego Luna highlight selection surprises. With the June 12 opener against Paraguay approaching, friendlies and Pochettino's preferred 4-3-3 or variations will clarify starters amid home-soil expectations.
