If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Silver Ball market for the second-best World Cup performer shows a tightly contested field, with Harry Kane at 37% implied probability leading a cluster that includes Michael Olise, Lionel Messi, and Bukayo Saka near 31-32%, followed by Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, and others in the 20-30% range. This competitive spread stems from multiple players entering peak form from strong club seasons and recent international appearances, where consistent goal contributions, creative playmaking, and defensive work rates position them for standout tournament roles. The presence of lower probabilities for established names like Vinícius Jr. and Cristiano Ronaldo highlights trader focus on current momentum and squad integration rather than past results, leaving room for late surges or injuries to reshape the hierarchy before knockout stages.
