This market will resolve according to the stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at which Switzerland is eliminated. If Switzerland wins the tournament, this market will resolve to 'Champion'. If Switzerland is disqualified, withdraws, is removed from the tournament, or the tournament is partially completed and not finished for any reason, this market will resolve according to the furthest completed round reached by Switzerland based on the best available official information. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled in full, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to 'Other'. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Switzerland enter the 2026 FIFA World Cup as Group B favorites after topping UEFA qualifying with a strong defensive record and comfortable results against Kosovo, Slovenia, and Sweden. Their experienced squad, anchored by Granit Xhaka and featuring multicultural depth, opened with a 1-1 draw against Qatar, keeping advancement to the round of 32 firmly in reach despite a schedule that includes Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada. Historical patterns show the Swiss routinely reaching the knockout phase across recent major tournaments yet rarely advancing past the round of 16, aligning with trader pricing that places the highest implied probabilities on early elimination in the group stage or round of 32. No major late injuries have surfaced, though their modest overall depth limits realistic paths beyond the quarterfinals.
