Forecast models from NOAA and private sources currently indicate a high near 93°F for Houston on September 14, driven by persistent southerly flow under high pressure that maintains warm, humid air masses typical of late summer in the region. Afternoon convective storms are expected but unlikely to suppress peak temperatures below the mid-90s, consistent with recent days that saw 95–98°F readings. This positions the 92–93°F bin as the market leader at 51% implied probability, with 94–95°F as the main alternative if heating intensifies before storms develop. Historical September averages near 90°F provide context, though current conditions reflect above-normal warmth. Updated National Weather Service guidance on the morning of the 14th will determine final resolution.
