Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a partly cloudy Sunday with light west winds and only a slight afternoon thunderstorm chance, supporting maximum temperatures near 89–91°F at Atlanta’s official site. This places the market’s leading 88–91°F bins in near parity, reflecting minor differences in forecast timing of any cloud cover or convection that could cap peak heating. Dew points in the low 70s will sustain high humidity and heat indices above 100°F, but steering patterns show no strong frontal passage or tropical moisture surge to alter the baseline. With resolution just two days away, traders are weighting the latest model runs showing limited variability around these values against the climatological September 13 average of 84°F.
