Current forecasts from NOAA and private models indicate Austin overnight lows on September 13 will likely settle in the mid- to upper 70s amid persistent southerly flow and a warm, humid air mass with limited radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies. This positioning leaves the 76-77°F and 78-79°F bins competitive while the 69°F-or-below outcome reflects potential for stronger cooling if dew points drop or winds calm more than expected. Conversely, the 88°F-or-higher bin captures scenarios of minimal overnight drop under continued advection of Gulf moisture. Model spread in boundary-layer mixing and cloud cover timing sustains the near-even distribution across bins, with updated National Weather Service guidance expected to refine probabilities before midnight.
