Current forecasts from National Weather Service models project an overnight low in the mid-60s°F for New York City on September 14, with most guidance clustering near 63–65°F after Sunday’s rain and a northwest wind shift. This range underpins the market’s tightly matched probabilities across bins, as traders weigh modest variability from cloud clearance rates, residual humidity, and boundary-layer mixing that could nudge the minimum a few degrees either way. Post-frontal conditions typical for mid-September limit extremes, though model spread in dew points and wind speeds sustains uncertainty ahead of final observations. Updated NWS guidance and real-time data will likely narrow the distribution before resolution.
