Official NWS forecasts project a Miami high near 89–90°F on September 11 under easterly flow and high moisture, with afternoon thunderstorms likely after midday. Convective timing and coverage remain the key variables: earlier or more widespread storms could limit peak heating to the mid-80s by reducing insolation, while delayed development would allow temperatures to reach the low 90s before sea-breeze or outflow boundaries intervene. Model guidance shows modest instability and dew points near 80°F, producing heat indices above 100°F but little consensus on exact maximum. This uncertainty keeps market-implied probabilities tightly clustered across the 84–93°F bins, reflecting traders’ assessment of typical early-September convective suppression versus clear-sky heating potential.
