Official forecasts from the National Weather Service project a high near 77°F for Chicago on September 11 under sunny skies and northeast winds, aligning with the climatological average of 77.9°F and following several days of cooler, drier air after the month's early heat. Model consensus shows limited warming potential from lake influences or cloud cover, though slight variations in boundary-layer mixing could shift readings by a degree or two. Trader emphasis on the 78–83°F bins reflects uncertainty in final model guidance and historical day-to-day variability rather than current observational trends, with resolution hinging on the next 48-hour forecast updates.
