Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and global models indicate Dallas overnight lows on September 21 will likely settle in the mid-70s, driven by a lingering warm, humid air mass with dew points near 70°F, light winds, and variable cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms that limit radiative cooling. This setup produces a narrow range of potential minima, with slight model differences in storm timing, wind direction shifts, and boundary-layer mixing explaining the close market-implied odds across the 74–79°F outcomes. Historical September averages near 68°F underscore the current anomalously mild conditions, while traders weigh the latest high-resolution runs and surface observations ahead of final resolution.
