Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 21, 2026, project an overnight low near 70–72°F under partly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorm chances, aligning closely with the 90% market-implied probability for the 72–73°F bin. This reflects typical late-September climatology in the region, where average daily lows hover around 65°F but unseasonable warmth from a persistent high-pressure ridge has elevated readings. Model consensus shows minimal overnight cooling due to high humidity and light winds, though any stronger storms or clearer skies could nudge the minimum slightly lower. Upcoming evening observations and updated model runs will refine resolution criteria around these thresholds.
