Recent forecast models from agencies including the German Weather Service (DWD) and GFS ensembles point to clear to partly cloudy skies and light winds over Munich on September 22, supporting strong nighttime radiative cooling that could drive the daily minimum into the 4–8°C range. This aligns with the market-implied odds favoring 2°C or below (44%) or 5°C (21.5%), reflecting trader assessment of model spread and the potential for localized cold pockets near the city. Historical September 22 lows average 9.3°C but have dipped to 0.7°C, underscoring the role of high-pressure systems in producing outliers. Final official readings from Munich stations will resolve the market once the overnight period concludes.
