Official National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 21 indicate a high in the mid-70s under mostly sunny skies, following overnight clearing after scattered storms the prior day. Model consensus clusters between 73°F and 76°F, reflecting typical September diurnal heating under building high pressure, lighter easterly winds, and minimal cloud cover that supports efficient solar insolation from a cool morning low near 52°F. Minor forecast spreads arise from subtle differences in afternoon mixing depth and any lingering boundary-layer moisture, which could trim peak temperatures by 1–2°F or allow an extra degree of warming if skies remain fully clear through late afternoon. The official high, measured at Denver International Airport, will resolve the market.
