The extreme difficulty of capturing all four women's Grand Slams in a single calendar year drives the overwhelming market consensus that none will occur in 2026. Different surfaces, travel demands, and the depth of the WTA tour create significant barriers, as even dominant players face form fluctuations, potential injuries, and rival competition across the Australian Open hard courts, French Open clay, Wimbledon grass, and US Open hard courts. Elena Rybakina's recent strong results on multiple surfaces position her with the highest implied probability among individuals, yet historical patterns show calendar slams remain exceptionally rare. A realistic shift could occur only if one player sustains peak performance without setbacks through the full season while others falter.
