Cadenasso has posted stronger recent results across surfaces while Broady returns from hard-court challengers in Asia with mixed outcomes, including straight-set wins and losses. Neither player holds a head-to-head record, so surface-specific factors such as clay-court movement, rally tolerance, and adaptation from recent schedules will shape early breaks and set lengths. Broady’s experience in grand-slam qualifiers offers potential resilience in longer exchanges, yet Cadenasso’s youth and current momentum position him to control baseline rallies on the slower Parisian red dirt. The winner advances to the second qualifying round, where further roster adjustments or fatigue from the grueling best-of-three format could influence progression.
