Jay Clarke holds a clear edge in this Roland Garros qualifying clash on clay, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 199 and straight-sets opening-round win over Dane Sweeny. The British player’s recent form and experience on the surface give him an advantage against Thomas Faurel, the 20-year-old Frenchman ranked around 375 who advanced past Genaro Alberto Olivieri. Both competitors enter after first-round victories, but Clarke’s superior ranking and consistency on red clay stand out as the dominant factors shaping trader sentiment. Home-crowd support for Faurel and the fast turnaround between qualifying rounds remain the primary variables that could influence the outcome in this best-of-three encounter.
