Jesper de Jong holds a clear edge entering this Roland Garros qualifying second-round clash on red clay, thanks to his superior ranking near the top 100 and recent straight-sets victory over Sun Fajing in the opening round. The Dutch player brings stronger clay-court experience and momentum from consistent Challenger results, while Liam Draxl advanced past Ilia Simakin in three sets but remains outside the top 150 with limited recent success on the surface. Both competitors have posted solid form heading into the match, yet de Jong’s higher placement and familiarity with Grand Slam qualifying conditions shape the current trader consensus around his implied probability of advancing.
