The Odyssey holds the market lead at 41% implied probability for the 2027 Oscars Best Original Score, fueled by Ludwig Göransson’s attachment to Christopher Nolan’s high-profile epic and the composer’s recent awards momentum. Dune: Part Three sits at 28% as Hans Zimmer returns to the franchise with expectations of another sweeping orchestral score. Project Hail Mary (16%) benefits from Daniel Pemberton’s inventive style on a major sci-fi adaptation, while Disclosure Day (11.9%) draws interest from John Williams’ involvement. The broad field of 50% outcomes reflects the early 2026 release cycle, where guild precursors, final mixes, and critical reception of these competing blockbusters will likely sharpen trader consensus ahead of nominations.
