Molly Gray holds an 81.5% implied probability in the Vermont lieutenant governor race as the Democratic nominee facing Republican incumbent John S. Rodgers, who sits at 17%. Gray secured her party’s nomination in the August 11 primary with roughly 61% of the vote against two challengers, drawing on her prior term in the office and recent work leading the Vermont Afghan Alliance. Rodgers advanced unopposed on the Republican side after switching parties for his initial 2024 bid. Vermont’s consistent Democratic lean in statewide contests, combined with Gray’s name recognition and emphasis on state issues such as housing and healthcare, underpins trader consensus. The general election on November 3 leaves limited time for major shifts absent significant new polling or developments.
