Incumbent Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul holds an 87% implied probability in the Wisconsin Attorney General election market, well ahead of Republican challenger Eric Toney at 12%. Both candidates advanced unopposed through the August 11 primaries in a rematch of the 2022 contest that Kaul won by roughly 35,000 votes. Recent campaign activity has centered on public safety and data privacy concerns over Flock cameras, with Kaul stressing statewide protocols to avoid surveillance overreach and Toney highlighting his record as a district attorney supporting law enforcement. Wisconsin’s status as a swing state, combined with Kaul’s established incumbency and campaign infrastructure ahead of the November 3 general election, continues to shape trader consensus on the outcome.
