BTS’s “Swim,” the lead single from the group’s March 2026 comeback album *Arirang*, holds a clear edge in the Song of the Year market thanks to its sustained global streaming dominance, multiple chart-topping weeks outside the U.S., and the outsized influence of ARMY’s organized fan voting. The track’s additional Best K-Pop nomination and recent iHeartRadio Music Festival performance have reinforced momentum heading into the September 27 ceremony, where fan votes close on the 25th. The remaining nominees—Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” Huntrix’s “Golden,” Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Bring Your Love,” Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s “Stateside,” and Raye’s “Where Is My Husband!”—trail significantly, reflecting narrower voter bases and less crossover appeal in a category historically swayed by organized fandoms rather than critical consensus or radio airplay.
