Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta project a mostly sunny Wednesday with a high near 89°F and only a 20% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, consistent with model consensus showing modest easterly flow and limited moisture. This follows several days of mid-90s readings earlier in September that have elevated baseline warmth, though climatological averages for September 9 sit near 85°F. Trader emphasis on the 90-91°F bin reflects uncertainty over exact convective timing and potential for slightly stronger heating if clouds remain suppressed, while lower bins account for possible earlier storm development or thicker cloud cover reducing the peak. Official resolution will hinge on the daily maximum at the primary Atlanta observing site.
