Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a stable marine layer regime for Los Angeles on September 4, with morning low clouds and fog clearing to sunshine under moderate onshore southwest flow. This pattern typically caps daytime highs near the long-term average of 76–77°F at official stations, producing the market’s leading 55.5% probability for that bin. Ensemble and deterministic runs show limited warming potential, keeping 78–79°F a credible but secondary outcome at 31% while rendering higher thresholds unlikely absent a rapid offshore shift. Forecasters highlight the absence of strong high pressure or Santa Ana conditions that could push readings into the low 80s, supporting trader consensus around near-normal maximum temperatures.
