Forecast models from the National Weather Service and supporting guidance indicate Austin's minimum temperature on September 19 will likely fall in the mid-70s under persistent warm, humid southerly flow with light winds and mostly clear skies. This setup suppresses radiational cooling compared to drier or calmer conditions, keeping overnight lows several degrees above the early-September climatological average near 68°F. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 68–75°F bins because small variations in dewpoint, cloud cover, or wind speed can shift the exact minimum by 1–2°F, while official resolution relies on precise station observations such as Austin-Bergstrom or Camp Mabry. No significant frontal systems or precipitation are expected to alter the thermal profile before the daily low is established.
