Forecast models from NOAA and local NWS offices indicate Houston's overnight low on September 12 will settle in the upper 70s to low 80s, driven by persistent southerly flow, high dew points near 77°F, and minimal nocturnal radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies amid a quiet Atlantic basin with no tropical systems or cold fronts nearby. This warmer-than-average pattern—well above the historical 73°F baseline—has concentrated trader bets on the 78–81°F bins as the dominant outcomes. Model consensus shows little disagreement on steering or boundary-layer conditions through tonight, though any unexpected clearing or localized rain could nudge readings slightly lower. Official minimum temperature reports from Houston-area stations will resolve the market once overnight data finalize.
