Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological sources, including Chinese and international models, indicate a high of 29–31°C for Shanghai on September 12 under mostly cloudy to partly sunny conditions with light winds and low precipitation risk. This aligns with late-summer climatology, where September average highs hover near 27°C but recent days have seen readings in the upper 20s amid variable cloud cover. Model consensus favors 29°C as the peak, supporting the market's leading 49.5% implied probability, while slight variations in timing of any clearing or minor moisture could shift outcomes toward 28°C or 30°C. With resolution imminent, updated short-range guidance and observational data will likely refine these probabilities further.
