MIBR faces Eternal Fire in a best-of-three at the IEM Beijing 2026 Global Closed Qualifier playoffs on September 2. Eternal Fire enters with fresh momentum after advancing through the open qualifier with a 2-1 win over 100 Thieves on August 24, bolstered by the recent permanent addition of jottAAA and signing of soulfly to stabilize the lineup. MIBR arrives amid roster flux, having benched longtime player brnz4n on August 25 after signing AWPer nqz earlier in the summer, while posting inconsistent results including an early exit from the Esports World Cup 2026 group stage. Historical matchups favor Eternal Fire, who swept MIBR 2-0 in ESL Pro League Season 21. Map pool execution and adaptation to the updated rosters will likely shape the outcome in this single-elimination setting.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
