FURIA enters the August 12 BO1 upper-bracket opener in Esports World Cup Group D as the clear favorite, reflecting their top-five global ranking and established international roster featuring players like yuurih, KSCERATO, YEKINDAR, and molodoy. Wildcard, a lower-ranked North American side hovering outside the top 40, faces a steep stylistic and experience gap against the Brazilian squad. Head-to-head history favors FURIA across prior meetings, while recent form shows FURIA maintaining competitive results in major events despite occasional inconsistency. The single-map format heightens upset potential for the underdog, yet trader positioning aligns with FURIA’s superior map pool depth and regional dominance in the Americas.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
