**Trader sentiment for the foldable iPhone’s announced price centers on the device’s imminent reveal at Apple’s September 9 event, with consistent analyst and supply-chain reports pointing to a starting price of $2,000–$2,500.** Recent updates from Ming-Chi Kuo, Mark Gurman, TrendForce, and JPMorgan reinforce this premium positioning, driven by the book-style design featuring a roughly 5.5-inch outer OLED and 7.8-inch inner display, advanced A20-series silicon, higher RAM, and durable hinge technology. This places it well above the iPhone 17 Pro Max and in line with or above current Samsung Galaxy Z Fold models, reflecting Apple’s emphasis on quality and limited early production volumes. The September 9 unveiling alongside iPhone 18 Pro models remains the key near-term catalyst that could lock in exact pricing tiers or shift expectations.
