Current National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Austin show a consensus high near 100°F on September 13 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light southerly winds and minimal rain chances, positioning the 100-101°F outcome as the market leader at 39.5% implied probability. Persistent late-summer ridging and above-average baseline temperatures—September climatology averages 91.6°F with a 102°F record—support the strong trader weighting toward the 98-101°F range, while model runs indicate limited day-to-day variability and low odds of significant cooling or intensification. Official resolution will hinge on the highest verified reading at primary stations such as Austin-Bergstrom, with final NWS updates expected to refine confidence ahead of the event.
