Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble models indicate a high near 91°F for Denver on September 6, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms introducing the main uncertainty between the closely matched 90-91°F and 92-93°F market bins. Thunderstorm timing and coverage could suppress peak readings through evaporative cooling and cloud cover or allow brief spikes if convection remains isolated or delayed. The pattern follows several days of above-average highs in the low 90s amid a broader warm spell, well above the 1991-2020 climatological mean of roughly 83°F. Official forecast updates and real-time observations from Denver International Airport will determine resolution as convective initiation windows approach.
