This market will resolve according to the bank that serves as the lead underwriter in the initial public offering of Anthropic. If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.” If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released. The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are locked in a tight contest to secure the lead-left bookrunner role for Anthropic’s anticipated 2026 IPO, with market-implied odds reflecting their near-even positioning at 50.5% and 48.5%. Both banks were selected in June 2026 as primary underwriters for the multibillion-dollar offering, which could value the Claude developer above $60 billion and target a launch as early as October. JPMorgan Chase participates in planning and investor meetings but trails significantly. The competitive dynamics hinge on longstanding tech-sector relationships, execution capabilities in large AI-related deals, and the prestige of leading what ranks among 2026’s marquee listings. Recent July updates on roadshow scheduling underscore the active syndication phase, where incremental allocations and client preferences could still tip the balance before final designation.
